Cheapest and direct:
Take the very regular green Bath Airdecker Bus from just outside the arrivals lounge direct to Bath Bus Station. This will take approx 1 hour -1 hour 45 minutes, depending on traffic.
Click the link for up to date timetable and fares. A return fare (valid for three months) will be cheaper than two singles. You can pay on the bus but you may need cash.
Slightly more expensive and not necessarily speedier from 7pm due to less frequent trains to Bath:
Take the Bristol Flyer bus to Bristol Temple Meads train station (25 minutes). Buy a ticket on the bus. You may need cash. Buy a return ticket if you plan to return to the airport using this service within one month. Then take the first train to Bath Spa train station (10-20 minutes). Buy a single ticket to Bath at Temple Meads. www.nationalrail.co.uk
Speediest and direct:
Take a taxi from the taxi rank 100m to the left of the arrivals lounge. Journey 45 minutes. Approx £50. You may need cash.
Take the regular T9 airport bus (30 minutes) to Cardiff Station. Take the train to Bath Spa train station. There are several direct trains per day but most trains involve one or two changes (at small and easy stations). A direct train will take approx one hour.
